The information presented on this web site outlines the development and deployment of a data collection network for monitoring water supply systems. The data collection network bridges advances in wireless sensor networks and hydraulic and water quality modelling to provide water utilities with a low-cost monitoring system which offers significant flexibility in remotely controlling sampling regimes, time synchronized data collection and adaptive in-network data processing.

The research is funded by the Cambridge-MIT Institute, Intel Research and Boston Water and Sewer Commission.
